INVESTMENT STRATEGY & PHILOSOPHY

Acquisitions

Sound Worth Partners was founded by Pierce Filippelli and Colin Daddino with a singular purpose: to acquire and operate exceptional small businesses for the long term.

In early 2024, Sound Worth Partners completed its first acquisition, Seafarer Canvas, Connecticut’s largest marine upholstery and canvas company. With over 40 years of reputation for craftsmanship and service excellence, Seafarer continues to thrive under new ownership, growing steadily while maintaining the integrity and customer focus that built its name.

At Sound Worth, we believe small business is fundamentally about people and relationships. We pride ourselves on being genuine people persons who value transparency, fairness, and partnership in every interaction. We believe that empowering talented managers through aligned incentives creates both stronger companies and more fulfilled leaders, ultimately compounding value across our portfolio over time.

We seek to acquire businesses with enduring reputations, loyal customer bases, and owners who care deeply about their employees and clients. We are flexible on transaction structures and committed to crafting agreements that align the interests of all parties and ensure a smooth, successful transition.

Real Estate Investments

In addition to small and medium-sized businesses, we believe real estate offers a compelling opportunity for long-term value creation. We focus on real estate investments that complement our business portfolio, providing stable income streams, potential for appreciation, and strategic value. By leveraging our expertise in market analysis and operational growth, we seek real estate opportunities that align with our long-term strategy of sustainable growth and asset diversification. We target properties with solid fundamentals, such as location, tenant stability, and growth potential, ensuring they enhance our overall investment platform.
